The possibilities of another person creating a blog is tantamount to breathing nowadays.
I'm not like most people in the fact I connect to a lot of people through words. I've always been more of a "presence" guy. The shadow that covers you when I wish to make my presence known. Being a big guy can help with that. I've always tried to be the "wise man". You know, the guy who actually knows what the hell he's talking about. And most times, when somebody needed to know something, my shadow covered the subject. As well as the person asking, any of their friends, the section of the room they were in, and the next county if it was especially bright out...
As a kid, my dad used to call me a walking encyclopedia/tv guide, considering the fact that I would always read whatever I could get my hands on. Second grade (in American public schools), Seventh Grade reading comprehension level. Not bad for a kid that doctor's initially labeled as mentally handicapped because he wouldn't talk, huh? Eventually, the bigger I got, he bigger the amount of categories I became interested in. But me saying that is leading you ( the dear reader) to believe I'm a know-it-all. I'm not. Trust me.
So, why did I start this blog? I'm a geek. And like my namesakes, I tend to go where I'm needed, and that usually means that I have to go pretty far when it comes to my interests. And also like my namesakes, I tend to help those that are in need of it. And lets face it, in a sea of anonymity, it's good to know that someone is looking out for you, huh?
All in all, I am a Knight Errant. A roving champion trying to bring the best, and protect you from the worst. If there is anything in particular you guys need info on, drop me a line. In the meantime, I'll bring you things pertaining to geekdom that you might not have known or possibly deserve to be known.
Except hubris. I seem to be lacking that so far, huh? Anyway, I'm starting to ramble. So. Geekdom. Reviews. Opinions. Info. Okay? Good.
By the way, catch my buddy's blog here: http://http://glampirebat.blogspot.com/ He loves-a the attention-a. So I'm trying to help out.
Catch you guys later.
